The value for the money at this cozy cottage was excellent. The room was fantastic, with beautiful artwork and all the amenities you could ever need, including a well-stocked kitchen and heated bathrooms. The location couldn't have been better, right across the street from a pub, restaurant, and grocery store. The staff, Tony and Lesley, were amazing hosts and provided plenty of information about the area.
The breakfast option could have been better with a wider variety of choices.

So much to do in the area, I felt like a professional hiker and cyclist! The cottage had everything I needed, just like my own home. And I loved grilling in the garden, even though my barbecue skills are questionable. Free WiFi and parking? Yes, please!
Oh, how I adored the slow WiFi! It gave me plenty of time to admire the pixelated images and savor the excruciatingly long loading times.

I had an incredible stay at this cosy home! the owners/managers went above and beyond to make us comfortable. the beds and rooms were preheated, there were ample towels and dressing gowns, and the kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked. They even lit the fire for us and provided coffee pods. the hosts, especially Tony, were amazing, friendly, and full of excellent advice. the property had a small private garden, perfect for relaxing under a grape-filled pergola. It was truly a home away from home. Cons: Everything was 👍.

I had an very nice stay at a beautiful, cozy cottage in Twizel. The moment I arrived, I felt a warm and cute atmosphere. The bedrooms were lovely and the living space was perfect, especially the well-stocked kitchen with every utensil I could possibly need. The outdoor space was just as inviting as the indoors, and the location was ideal for walking to shops and restaurants. Rathlin Cottage provided a wonderful experience.
Despite the minor inconvenience of limited hot water for a large group, we managed just fine. the blinds in the front bedroom could have been more effective at blocking out light.

We stayed at this wonderful holiday house for 17 days during our trip in NZ. Tony and Lesley have used their travel experience to provide all the convenient house appliances you could need. The water pressure is strong, the garden room and garden are beautiful, and the artwork on the walls is amazing. The entire house is decorated and furnished impeccably, and even the smallest details like the napkin paper are top-notch. We felt comfortable and at home, and would highly recommend this place to other travelers.
Would recommend this hotel.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, offering great tips for fishing spots. the cottage itself was well-appointed, with a fully stocked kitchen and a comfortable lounge area. the location was perfect, being close to town and centrally located for exploring the surrounding area.
The blinds in the front bedroom allowed cold air to seep through and did not block out the light from the street lamps. the WiFi connection was unreliable, making it difficult to connect unless you were right next to the booster in the kitchen.

The location of the hotel is great, with easy access to many attractions in the area. Guests have praised the hosts for being welcoming and informative, and for providing a homey atmosphere with quality linens, cookware, and furnishings. The gardens are also beautiful and well-maintained, adding to the overall ambiance of the hotel.
Some guests have complained about difficulties in communication and a lack of responsiveness from the staff.

The garden with its beautiful flowers and the terrace overlooking the stunning landscape provided the perfect backdrop for our family vacation. We made good use of the DVD player, spending evenings together watching our favorite movies, creating lasting memories.
My children wanted more outdoor activities for families with children.

The cottage has everything you would have in your own home, which is absolutely fantastic because who wants to go on vacation and actually relax? Not me, I prefer doing house chores on my holiday!
Oh, I mean, I guess it's a bit inconvenient that you have to bring your own food and refreshments. Who has time to pack all that stuff anyway?

Hiking, biking, and a cozy cottage with all the comforts of home. The garden BBQ was a delightful touch. Free parking and WiFi, and just a stone's throw from everything.
Oh dear, what could possibly be wrong in paradise?

The decorations at Rathlin Cottage were simply delightful, with beautiful vintage touches that made me feel right at home. The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained and easily accessible for senior people like myself. I particularly loved the cozy sitting area where I could relax and enjoy the stunning mountain views.
It would have been even better if the children working there could provide a few more assistance options tailored specifically for senior guests.

Loved the cottage, it had everything, even a tumble dryer for my couture gowns. The garden was perfect for my afternoon tea parties. Complimentary WiFi was great for posting my fabulous outfits on Instagram.
None, because I'm fabulous and have no time for complaints.
